1998 Yamaha 6hp 2 stroke Long shaft
1998 Yamaha 6hp 2stroke outboard engine in good condition. This engine has seen used as an auxiliary engine so not heavily used. An easy starter and runs well. Goes into forward & reverse gear just as it should. Pumps loads of water. Comes complete with fuel line and external tank. Usual scuffs and scratches on an engine that has been put in and out of the car but in no way affects its reliability and good performance. These engines are in great demand as Yamaha 2 strokes no longer available. Light and easy to transport, being excellent on fuel with Yamaha’s great reputation for reliability along with back up service in Ireland.
A good opportunity to purchase one of these great little outboards. |

Mercury 3.3 hp 2 Stroke Outboard
Mercury 3.3hp Longshaft 2 stroke outboard engine. Lovely light engine to handle with load of power for an Auxiliary or small boat outboard. This one runs very well as it had only ever been used as a backup engine on a 17’ boat. Starts and runs just as it should with no problems. Very economical on fuel and a tank will last forever. Some slight paint markings on leg as you would expect on a used engine. This engine is fairly described by the vendor. Cheep reliable engine with plenty more use in it. |

due to me moving in away in a few months, and having my rib sold, i am now left with one outboard.
The new owner of my rib had one already so i decided to sell it seperate.
It was bought brand new in 2007 and used ( registered also) on the Shannon only, the engine was never used in salt water.
It's 25h, short shaft, 20L Petrol tank and Two stroke. The new owner will get the engine puls what ever i have left from my 2 stroke oil.
It runs very economical , and never gave me problems.
Its a manual pull start, and was serviced and kept indoor every winter from October till May.
Sparkplugs and rotor oil changed every time , and stored dry in my house.
Behind a rib, it can get speeds up to +20 knots and is easy to handle.
The weight is 51 kg , 18.4 Kw with a max rpm of 6000
I'm open to offers, but serious offers only.

This engine was running well up to Christmas in the boat but unfortunately the head was damaged in the heavy frost in Wicklow so that has to be replaced otherwise excellent for parts.
There is a fully reconditioned alternator and starter motor.
Full Bowman heat exchanger and all marinisation parts.
New Jabsco water pump
Borg Warner Velvet Drive gearbox in good condition.
On a pallet - I can deliver if required. |
